André Proulx, M.A. President & CEO Mr. Proulx graduated from Laval University in 1974 with a master’s degree in Ethnology. He has over 13 years of experience in the management of companies involved in mineral exploration. He is a director, President and CEO of three public resource companies: Ressources Appalaches Inc (TSXV – APP) since 1994, Pétrolia (TSXV – PEA) since 2002, and Exploration Puma (TSXV – PUM) since 2003. Mr. Proulx was president of Géominex, a consulting firm in the mineral exploration sector, from 1994-2000.
Alain Ferland has more than 30 years of experience in the petroleum industry and has served as a member of the senior management team in small and large oil, oil services, plastic, airport, and biotechnology companies. Mr. Ferland has extensive experience in strategic planning, operations, logistics, sales, marketing, project management, corporate services and mergers. During his career, Mr. Ferland has served on more than ten boards of directors in various capacities throughout his career. He is currently a member of the Parkland Income Fund board and the chairman of its Compensation and Corporate Governance Committee. He is also president of EFFA Management Inc. Mr. Ferland has served as president of TORR Canada Inc., Aéroports de Montréal, IPL Inc., and Geneka Biotechnologies, and prior to that was president of Ultramar Ltd. and vice-president of Ultramar Diamond Shamrock. He is an engineer.
Albert Wildgen, Director
Mr. Wildgen graduated from Université de Paris I, Panthéon-Sorbonne in 1976 with a degree in law, and was called to the Barreau des Avocats in Luxembourg in 1977. In 1980 he joined the law firm of Mr. Victor Bodson, a former Luxembourg Minister and Member of the European Commission in Brussels. He was Associate Director of Wildgen & Partners, one of the largest business law firms in Luxembourg. Mr. Wildgen currently sits on the board of directors of a number of holding companies and multinational finance companies and banking groups.
Erick Adam, Director, Geophysicist
Erick Adam holds a Ph.D. from École Polytechnique of Montreal, and has been involved in base metals and hydrocarbon exploration for 13 years, most recently as a geophysicist with Hydro-Québec Pétrole et Gaz. He has extensive experience in both onshore and offshore oil and gas exploration, and has participated in several large scale geophysical surveys across Canada.
Jacques L. Drouin joined ProSep Inc. in October 2003 as chief financial officer and secretary and became senior vice-president and chief financial officer on November 1, 2006. On November 2, 2007, he became president and CEO of ProSep Inc. and a member of the board of directors. Mr. Drouin brings over 12 years of experience in corporate finance. As a former vice-president and director at Deloitte & Touche Corporate Finance Canada Inc., he undertook and managed numerous financing and merger and acquisition transactions for public as well as private companies. Mr. Drouin also worked as a senior corporate finance consultant at KPMG and at Nesbitt Thomson (now BMO Nesbitt Burns) as a financial analyst in the investment-banking department. Jacques L. Drouin holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a master’s degree in management science from HEC Montréal, with a specialization in finance.
Myron Tétreault has been chairman of Calafate Holdings Ltd., a private investment management and venture capital company, since 1999. He is the chairman of MicroPlanet Technology Corp. (a TSX-V listed technology company). He is also a co-founder and director of Echo Merchant Fund II Limited Partnership (a private mezzanine fund), Fitzroy Developments Ltd. (a private real estate company), Northern Vision Development Corp. (a private real estate company), and Webber Academy Foundation (a non-profit corporation that operates a private school in the Calgary, Alberta). Mr. Tétreault serves as the senior director of Phoenix Technology Income Fund, a TSX-listed horizontal and directional drilling company. Mr. Tétreault was the president and chief executive officer of Octane Energy Services Ltd. (an exchange-listed oilfield services company) from 1999 to April 2003. He was the general counsel and corporate secretary of Phoenix Technology Income Fund from 1997 to 2007. Mr. Tétreault was one of the founders of Total Energy Services Ltd., where he served as general counsel and corporate secretary from November 1996 to July 2000. From August 1993 to December 1997, Mr. Tétreault was a corporate and securities lawyer with the law firm of Bennett Jones Verchere (now Bennett Jones, LLP). Mr. Tétreault obtained his bachelor of laws degree (with distinction) from the University of Saskatchewan in 1992 and his bachelor of business administration degree (cum laude) from the University of Ottawa in 1988. Mr. Tétreault is a member of the Law Society of Alberta and the Entrepreneurs’ Organization.
Saeed Yousef is a graduate of the University of Pennsylvania, bachelor of economics (2006). Since 2006, he has been an economic analyst and marketing consultant with Drossbach GmbH in Germany.
Vincent Causse is a graduate of the Institut d’Études Politiques de Grenoble and has a bachelor of mathematics degree (1973). Since 1978, he has been a management specialist and a consultant for several enterprises: Pilatus Energy AG since 2007; YinPartners since 2004; Eaux Vives from 1999 to 2003; DG&DAF from 1999 to 2001; DRH from 1995 to 2000; IBM from 1990 to 1991; Eurostaf-Dafsa from 1988 to 1991; Caisse nationale de crédit agricole from 1978 to 1984.
Isabelle Proulx, graduated from Laval University in 1991 with a degree in Business Administration. She specialized in market studies for the administrative region of Quebec. Mrs. Proulx joined Petrolia in 2005 in an investor relations capacity, and was named vice-president of corporate affairs in 2008. |
